Below you'll find a list of frequently asked questions. If you have a question that is not answered below, Please do drop us a message and we would be happy to help.

Are you available on my wedding date, How far in advance should I secure my wedding date with you?
When you send your initial enquiry it is really helpful to include as much information as possible;
-What date and where is your wedding?
-Who will require what? How many people, this will help us to understand if we’ll need a second artist to assist on the day.
-Where will you be getting ready? (At home/ on site at the venue, If on site what time do you have access from?/ elsewhere) Again, this helps from a timing perspective.

Once we have this information, I can check my availability.
It is worth noting, I generally book 18-24 months in advance.
What is the booking process?

To secure your wedding date exclusively to you, I require a deposit of £100. Your wedding is not secured until this, along with your booking agreement has been returned to us.
The booking fee is deducted from the final balance which is then due at your preview appointment. This can be paid by BACS or cash.
Do you have specific packages and pricing for weddings?
I DO, No pun intended.
My bridal packages are inclusive of your bridal preview. I want you to feel relaxed and 100% happy on the day with the look we create and therefore your preview is non-negotiable.

Additional members of the bridal party are quoted on the day only. Trials for them are not required, there is of course the option to add these on and they would be charged additionally but they are not something I consider to be necessary
Do you have any other commitments on my wedding day?
I do not, No questions.
I only ever commit to one wedding a day so that you receive my full attention with no time restraints.

Are you insured?
Absolutely, I have full public liability insurance and all of my electricals have been PAT tested.
Are there any additional fees involved?
Additional costs may apply to Bank Holidays, assistant fees and start times prior to 6.30am.
Mileage is charged at 0.50p per mile over 20mins of travel time.
If parking or congestion charges apply, these will be invoiced to the Bride and if a change of location is required there is a small fee for this all of which would be finalised prior to the big day.
What is your training and background in hair & makeup, How long have you been in the business?
I am a fully qualified Hair Stylist. I qualified in 2003, I became self employed in 2007 and branched our into the wedding industry haven't ever looked back, this is where my heart lies.
My training includes a City & Guilds NVQ and L’oreal Professional colour degree.

I have attended numerous Bridal hair workshops with various Bridal stylists.
I later went on to do my Makeup artistry course at The Makeup Academy in London.
I love what I do and have been lucky enough to work on over 800 weddings.
How long will all services take on the day?
Every wedding is different but on average a Hair up would take 30-45 minutes per person, With Makeup taking around 50-60 minutes.
Once we have completed your Bridal preview, all of the final details will be confirmed and I will sit down and work out a full schedule for the morning. This is then sent to you and passed on to your bridal party so that everyone knows where they need to be and at what time. This in turn leads to a smooth, relaxed wedding morning.
Do you offer discounts on larger bookings?
I do not offer discounts on my bridal packages, mid week dates or off peak weddings.
Larger parties require earlier starts, more work, more organisation and assistant fees may apply.
Whats your backup plan for if you were ever sick or otherwise unable to attend my wedding day?
This is an unfortunate situation but one that of course needs to be addressed.
I can honestly say, this has never happened in my career, I would genuinely have to be on my death bed to not complete a booking.
That being said, we are all human and of course anything can happen. That is why I have built a strong, trustworthy team of Hair and Makeup artists who will always be there as back up should the situation ever arise.
